On several occasions the Association funded the training of Italian surgeons from Buzzi Children’s Hospital in Milan to work alongside staff at the Pediatric Urology Department at Johns Hopkins Hospital, so that they could learn the latest techniques in the treatment of rare genitourinary malformations.

The Association hopes to continue working in this direction, giving continuity to this project in the future.
